Decimal 3.00 = Fractional 2/1 = American +200. If the bet wins, the return is ৳1,500 (৳1,000 profit + ৳500 original stake). If the bet loses, ৳500 is gone.
Example 2 — Team B as favourite
Team B's odds are decimal 1.25 = fractional 1/4 = American -400 (American minus odds mean how much you need to stake to win ৳100). On a ৳500 stake, the return is ৳625 (৳125 profit).
Multi bet example
Three separate selections — odds 1.50, 1.70 and 1.80 — combined in a multi bet give total odds of 1.50 × 1.70 × 1.80 = 4.59 (approximately). On a ৳100 stake, winning all three returns ৳459. Losing even one means the full ৳100 is gone.
Live in-play betting — what happens when a wicket falls?
During a match, odds change with every ball. Say Team A is batting, 130 runs in 15 overs with 3 wickets down — Team A's odds of winning at that moment will be different from what they were at the start of the match. If two quick wickets then fall in the next over, the odds will shift again immediately.
At this moment, Team A is the favourite in the match winner market. But if another wicket falls in the 17th over, the odds will change right away.
In live betting, placing a bet slightly late means the locked-in odds may have already shifted with the situation — keep that in mind.
